Forward Otto Koivula extends contract with New York Islanders

According to the team's Twitter account, Otto Koivula, 23, will play two more seasons for the New York Islanders.

Koivula weighs 220 lbs and is 6'4". He first played for NoPy.

He scored 12 goals and 49 points in 67 games for the Bridgeport Islanders and the New York Islanders last season.

Otto Koivula is the 1st player to be rostered for New York Islanders before this season.
