According to nhl.com, Kevin Rooney, 29, of the New York Rangers, is changing teams and will now play for the Calgary Flames during the next two more the years.

Rooney is 6'2" and weighs 201 lbs.

He scored six goals and 12 points in 76 games for the New York Rangers last season.

He will reunite with former teammate Blake Coleman, who played with Kevin Rooney for the New Jersey Devils in the 2019-20 season.

Calgary Flames has already signed Nicolas Meloche, Clark Bishop, and Oscar Dansk, among others, and now have 17 players under contract for this season.
