Which teams have improved the most for the 2022-23 season?

The dust has mostly settled on NHL free agency season. And by that, I mean that like 10 players who scored at least a half-point per game last season are still on the market with basically no indication of where or when they're going to sign. In the meantime, though, we can take a look at which teams have improved their fortunes the most with the players they've brought to their organization this offseason.

But there were three teams in particular who made high-profile moves that position themselves for enhanced success in 2022-23.

Without further ado, let's take a look at those teams and what sort of step forward they can expect to make next season.
