Charlotte Checkers recruit German Lukas Kälble from Florida Everblades

Lukas Kälble, 24, of the Florida Everblades, is changing teams. He will now play for the Charlotte Checkers, according to the team's homepage.

Kälble is 6'1" and weighs 205 lbs. He first played for Mannheimer ERC.

He scored eight goals and 28 points in 61 games for the Clarkson University and the Florida Everblades last season.

Charlotte Checkers has already signed Dominic Franco, Cam Johnson, and Riley Bezeau, and now have 29 players under contract for this season.
