Truro Bearcats recruit defenseman Ryan Maynard from Charlottetown Islanders

According to the team's Twitter account, Ryan Maynard, 20, of the Charlottetown Islanders, will now play for the Truro Bearcats.

Maynard is 6'2" and weighs 190 lbs.

He scored one goal and nine points in 83 games for the Charlottetown Islanders last season.

Truro Bearcats has already signed Merle Putman, and Brendan Bays, and now have three players under contract for this season.
