Giovacchino DiMattia now set to play for Cape Breton Eagles

According to the team's Twitter account, Giovacchino DiMattia, 19, of the Moncton Wildcats, will now play for the Cape Breton Eagles.

DiMattia is 6'2" and weighs 168 lbs.

Last season in MJAHL, the goaltender had a save percentage of .895 over 31 games with the Grand Falls Rapids.

With the Cape Breton Eagles, he will once again be teammates with Kian Bell, who he played with on the Basin Armada U16 AAA in 2018-19.

Giovacchino DiMattia is the 9th player to be rostered for Cape Breton Eagles before this season.
