Former Drummondville Voltigeurs player set to play for Montréal Canadiens
According to cms.nhl.bamgrid.com, Riley Mercer, 18, of the Drummondville Voltigeurs, is changing teams and will now play for the Montréal Canadiens.
Mercer weighs 201 lbs and is 6'1".
Last season in QMJHL, the goaltender had a save percentage of .885 over 29 games with the Drummondville Voltigeurs.
Riley Mercer is the 27th player to be rostered for Montréal Canadiens before this season. The Montréal Canadiens have added Antoine Coulombe, John Parker-Jones, and Pierrick Dubé in the past month.
