Nathan MacKinnon extends contract with Colorado Avalanche

Nathan MacKinnon, 27, of the Colorado Avalanche will play eight more seasons with the club, according to nhl.com.
MacKinnon weighs 201 lbs and is 6'0". He played on the youth team for Cole Harbour MHA.
He scored 32 goals and 88 points in 85 games for the Colorado Avalanche last season.
Colorado Avalanche has already signed Alex Galchenyuk, and Evan Rodrigues, and now have zero players under contract for this season.
