EP Rinkside 2022 NHL Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 16-ranked Winnipeg Jets

A lack of draft capital in years past kept the Winnipeg Jets from climbing in our prospect pool rankings, but their work at last July's draft was a step in the right direction. With the addition of two first-rounders, the team's system now features a healthy mix of depth and top-end talent.

Cole Perfetti is one of the NHL's very best prospects (the 10th-best affiliated skater prospect in our last top-100 ranking, to be precise). He could occupy a top-six role for the Jets as soon as next season, if the team is willing to give him the opportunity and live with some rookie mistakes. And there are other high-upside prospects coming along in their system, players like Brad Lambert and Chaz Lucius who could both explode offensively with a change of on-ice mentality and the addition of some secondary skills over the next seasons.

Below, we will break down the top 15 prospects in their pool, analyze their skills, and their overall upside.
