Summer is officially over as the calendar gives way to October, and that can only mean one thing: Hockey is on the horizon. Pitched training camp battles are being waged. Fantasy hockey league drafts are taking place, and the actual season isn't that far off in the distance.
So, we’re back too, with the first installment of Robinson’s Fantasy Rundown for the 2022-23 season. As a reminder, this is a series where you will be given exclusive access to the inner workings of my mind. It could consist of 2000 words on one or two players or 50 words on 50 players.
Just like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get. But don’t worry, there won’t be any of those artificial-looking and tasting strawberry creams in this batch.
The season's first run focuses on potential deployment opportunities, how teams and players will adjust to injury situations, young players getting looks in good spots, and maybe even a hype bold prediction.
