Forward Derick Brassard now set to play for Ottawa Senators
Derick Brassard, 35, of the Edmonton Oilers, is changing teams. He will now play for the Ottawa Senators, according to nhl.com.
Brassard weighs 203 lbs and is 6'1". He played on the youth team for AHM Gatineau.
He spent last season with the Edmonton Oilers and the Philadelphia Flyers, scoring eight goals and 19 points in 47 games as a center and left wing.
He will reunite with former teammate Thomas Chabot, who played with Derick Brassard for the Ottawa Senators in the 2017-18 season.
Ottawa Senators has already signed Magnus Hellberg, Jorian Donovan, and Tyler Motte, and now have 23 players under contract for this season.
