Take Town: It gets late early

I truly cannot believe that we're only about a week into the season and there are multiple coaches who are getting "Well, I mean he might get fired soon," talk already. I mean, I've seen the Vancouver Canucks play, I've seen the New Jersey Devils play, and I definitely get why people are looking at them askance, even aside from the underwhelming results.

These are teams that simply do not look good, but it must be said that a lot of determining what does and does not look good is post-facto. Ask a self-described goalie expert why Goaltender X is playing well, and you'll hear something along the lines of, "They're doing the right things with their angles and moving their heads to effectively track the puck."
