Strong third period wins it for Coyotes against Panthers

A tight game between the home-team Arizona Coyotes and the visiting Florida Panthers wasn't settled until the third period, when Arizona scored the game-winning goal, ending it 3-1.

The first period was scoreless, and in the second period, the Panthers took the lead when Colin White struck first assisted by Josh Mahura and Sam Bennett.

Coyotes' Lawson Crouse tallied a goal late into the second period, making the score 1-1. Matias Maccelli and Dylan Guenther assisted.

Nick Ritchie took the lead in the third period, assisted by Clayton Keller and Janis Moser.

The Coyotes increased the lead to 3-1 with 01.07 remaining of the third period after a goal from Clayton Keller, assisted by Christian Fischer and Patrik Nemeth. With that, the Coyotes turned the game around.

Arizona improves to 3–5–1, while Florida drops to 5–4–1.

Looking at the standings, we find Arizona in sixth place, while Florida is fourth in the league.
