Flyers defeated Senators on the road

The road-team Philadelphia Flyers got a single-goal win the Ottawa Senators. The team won 2-1 on Saturday.

The hosting Senators opened strong, with Claude Giroux scoring early into the first period, a goal assisted by Tim Stutzle and Brady Tkachuk.

The Flyers tied the game 1-1 in the first period when Kevin Hayes struck, assisted by Tony DeAngelo and Travis Konecny.

The Flyers made it 2-1 late in the second period when Zack MacEwen scored. With that, the Flyers turned the game around.

Ottawa is now 4–7–0, while Philadelphia Flyers improves to 6–3–2.

This means Philadelphia Flyers are in third place and that Ottawa are in eighth and last place.
