What’s up with Kyle Connor?

We discussed Kyle Connor earlier this year when he wasn’t scoring or getting assists. At the time of writing, at least one of those factors has been mitigated. The 25-year-old has eight points in his last five games - including a goal. But goals continue to elude him.

It’s not for a lack of trying.

After scoring 47 goals while averaging 4.0 shots-per-game, Connor has just two goals while averaging 3.4 shots per game this season. For those math aficionados out there, his conversion rate has sunk from 14.8 to 4.2.

I may be crazy, but I have a feeling we’re going to see a market correction here and soon.
