Unnumbered Thoughts: NHL has Mexico on the mind, Ryan Reynolds has Ottawa on his

PALM BEACH, Florida – One of the things that marked a return to normalcy, if you could call it that, for the NHL this season was the return of games in Europe. 

Because of COVID-19 international travel had been understandably put on hold for a couple seasons before the Nashville Predators and San Jose Sharks opened this season in Czechia. 

And the international efforts are only going to increase going forward, and that includes a game at some point in Mexico. 

The exact timeline of which season is still a bit fuzzy, but an NHL source confirmed this week that having a game, or games, in Mexico is on the docket for the not-too-distant future.
