Evan Bouchard’s time isn’t here yet

It sure doesn’t appear that Evan Bouchard is going to steal the top power–play job in Edmonton soon. I was vocal that this would be a prime opportunity for the young defender to begin his ascension up the production ladder. However, Tyson Barrie has power-play points in six straight and has nine PPPs over his last eight games. His 16 man-advantage points are second among all NHL backs - trailing only Rasmus Dahlin. 

I still believe that Bouchard is the future on the backend for the Oilers and his value
