This week, we’re cracking open my brain and unearthing all sorts of quick hits and tidbits to get you ready for the Holiday stretch and position yourself well for the back half of the fantasy season.

Evan Bouchard’s time isn’t here yet

It sure doesn’t appear that Evan Bouchard is going to steal the top power–play job in Edmonton soon. I was vocal that this would be a prime opportunity for the young defender to begin his ascension up the production ladder. However, Tyson Barrie has power-play points in six straight and has nine PPPs over his last eight games. His 16 man-advantage points are second among all NHL backs - trailing only Rasmus Dahlin. 

I still believe that Bouchard is the future on the backend for the Oilers and his value
