Let’s get festive this week as we mine the waiver wire before the Holiday break. 

It’s a short week, with no teams playing more than three games, and a good handful only skating two.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t mix a little rum with our eggnog and find some shortbread cookies and butter tarts hidden among a sea of fruitcake.

A reminder, the players featured in this column are, by and large, rostered in fewer than half of all Fantrax leagues. I break that rule on occasion - and do so twice this week. But it’s my column, so I make and break the rules as I see fit.
