Sure, he’s small and slight, but the defenceman is electrifying and uniquely dynamic. With the U.S. National Team Development Program, he took over shifts, orchestrating every action and reaction on the ice like a puppet master.
With Boston University, Hutson has found another level. He’s cranked the creation dial to 11, creating more chances, scoring more goals, and improving his defence against better competition. His game looks better suited for the rigours of the NHL, and he’s even found new ways to create offence.
