Take Town: Santa Claus is coming to Take Town

Looking at the schedule for the rest of the week, I have to say there are some intriguing matchups. 

Devils/Panthers and Oilers/Stars Wednesday. Hurricanes/Penguins, Jets/Bruins, and Rangers/Islanders on Thursday. Blues/Knights on Friday? Sign me up.

I get why they do Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day off, but that just means we gotta savor these big games while we can before we go three days without NHL hockey.

Hey, if they're gonna be redoing the schedule anyway, maybe this is the kind of thing they could prioritize every year. But more on that in a minute.

The top of the standings in the Eastern Conference has the Bruins No. 1, with a significant gap between themselves and anyone.
