The beauty of the week between Christmas and New Year's is that it feels like you can turn your TV on basically any time after 11 a.m. and there's a hockey game on.

World Juniors is going on, the college hockey world is powering out of break with pretty close to a full slate of games, and the NHL is also resuming play while ramping up to another Winter Classic.

In honor of this most wonderful time of the year, I thought we'd celebrate one player from all three of these hockey competitions and perhaps think so so nicely about how blessed we are that hockey, for all its faults, can still just drop a whole crapload of games in your lap and say, "Watch what you want. Doesn't really matter to me."
