Take Town: Starting on the right foot?

I saw Auston Matthews cleared 500 points last night and I thought, "Well, that was fast," but then I thought about it for a second and realized this is his seventh year in the league.

Which is a long time, because I remember seeing him play against Providence College at barely 17 years old with the US Under-18 team. And that doesn't feel that long ago, in my head, but I guess this is a thing of getting older.

In a little more than three weeks, I will turn 40, and I'm not having a crisis about it or anything like that but it does make me feel old to hear "Auston Matthews has played almost 450 career games."
