DETROIT, Michigan – Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness was already extremely familiar with Kyle Connor’s game.
As the coach of the Dallas Stars, including his time as an assistant, Bowness was on the opposite end watching Connor score seven goals in 12 games in Winnipeg-Dallas Central Division clashes.
And when Bowness took the head coaching job in Winnipeg, he knew Connor would be one of his offensive focal points.
But Bowness said there are still certain elements about Connor’s game that stick out even more, now that he’s been able to coach the left winger, who recently reached the 20-goal mark for the sixth consecutive season.
