EP Rinkside 3 Stars: Starting slow, getting hot

I've decided the most interesting division in the league this year is the Pacific, and it's not even close.

Leaving aside disparities in games played, there are four teams within three points of each other, from Seattle at the top with 58 to Edmonton in fourth with 55. You could tell me any of the four teams there finish the season in any order, and I would believe you. I could also see Calgary sneaking into that conversation, but that's looking less likely with each passing day.

Beyond the playoff-race intrigue, there's also everything going on with the Canucks' slow-motion car crash, whether the Sharks will sell at the deadline, and then Anaheim's race to the bottom (even if they did win in regulation last night; pathetic).
