Fantasy Focus: Mining the waiver wire during the All-Star break

This is a weird one. 

The All-Star break is almost upon us. Carolina has two games, and 10 other clubs have a single contest each before the shutdown officially kicks in. That means this matchup is extra long. Most league setups have the ‘week’ going from January 30th until February 12th.

But just because this matchup is running two calendar weeks, doesn’t mean we see some schedules really dominate. We have our usual swath of clubs with four matchups, a bunch with three, and then six clubs only featuring two games. As such, we’ll stay away from Buffalo, LA, Nashville, Ottawa, St. Louis, and Winnipeg.
