In a weird, awkward season All-Star a fitting finale for Pettersson and Horvat as "teammates"

SUNRISE, Florida – It was clunky and awkward. The timing was weird. 

The rules and expectations were effectively made up and changed by the powers that be mid-event. 

So, in many ways, this was actually a normal day at the office for Bo Horvat and Elias Pettersson.

But unlike other days, there won’t be another practice together for the teammates that had grown to know each over the past five seasons.  

Pettersson will return to the mess in Vancouver, Horvat will join the New York Islanders after making his “debut” in the Fisherman jersey, representing the Pacific Division, here in South Florida.
