Kings sign Mikey Anderson to 8-year extension
The Los Angeles Kings signed defenceman Mikey Anderson to an eight-year, $33 million contract extension on Wednesday.
The contract carries an annual value of $4.125 against the salary cap.
Anderson, 23, would have been a restricted free agent this summer and is currently making $1 million against the cap.
In 55 games this season, Anderson has two goals and 11 assists.
Drafted by the Kings in the fourth-round, 103rd overall, of the 2017 NHL Draft, Anderson has accumulated six goals and 27 assists for 33 points, in 172 career games.
