Now that we're rounding into the home stretch of the U20 SM-sarja season, most of the heavy lifting has been done in the scouting and tracking world.

At this point, I've accumulated over 130 games of data with as many as 20 draft-eligible skaters accounted for in the Finnish U20 league this season. In many cases, the data backs up the eye test. In some, it paints a bit of a different perspective from the consensus view.

Here are four data-driven observations from the Finnish U20 league, starting off with the best draft-eligible skater who's spent the majority of the season in the junior ranks.
