EP Rinkside 3 Stars: Praise be

A team I wanted to get in here but couldn't quite justify is the Los Angeles Kings.

They've pulled even with Vegas in terms of points (but not points percentage) with a five-game winning streak during which they've outscored opponents 21-13, and they only have two regulation losses dating back to the last day of January. They look great, they're getting contributions from just about everyone, and mayyyyybe the goaltending is tightening up to the point you actually feel comfortable going into the postseason.

This is all you're really looking for as a middle-of-the-pack team trying to separate yourself from the pack, right? To go 10-2-2 around the trade deadline despite some serious roster question marks that you then shore up?
