EP Rinkside 3 Stars: Faith and begorrah

How about those Arizona Coyotes? Not that literally any of it matters, or will matter over the next few seasons, but they're on a nice little run for themselves, going 3-0-1 this week and 5-0-2 since their last regulation loss.

But here's the fun part: If you go back to the All-Star Break, they're 10-4-5 – a pace for 108 points. Now sure, it's specifically because none of those games mattered even a little, and because most teams they've played are rolling out their fourth-string goalies and giving their bottom six 25 minutes a night. But a la the films "Major League" or "Slap Shot" they're winning games despite an owner who has no interest in seeing them actually win.
