Rinkside Roundtable: Who will be the last team in? Who will be the last team out in playoff hunt?

We're back for another Rinkside Roundtable.

Heading into Wednesday, NHL teams have anywhere from nine to seven games remaining.

In the Eastern Conference, five playoff spots have been locked up, with a sixth a virtual lock for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

It's left a wildcard race between the New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins, Florida Panthers, Buffalo Sabres and (maybe) the Ottawa Senators for two spots.

In the Western Conference the Central Division is a three-team race for the title between the Colorado Avalanche, Minnesota Wild, and Dallas Stars. The Pacific Division has a similar sprint scheduled between the Vegas Golden Knights, Los Angeles Kings, and Edmonton Oilers.

It's left a wild card battle between the Calgary Flames, Winnipeg Jets, and Nashville Predators for the last spot.
