Meet the Team: Sweden's 2023 U18 World Hockey Championship roster

Sweden enters this year's U18 World Hockey Championship as the reigning champs after their surprising victory over Team USA in the final last year in Germany.

Sweden's best players stepped up in the biggest moments, something head coach Magnus Hävelid is famous for getting out of his teams. He won't be there this year, though. His performance at the U18s earned him a spot behind his country's U20 bench. Now, this team is in the hands of veteran national coach Anders Eriksén.

The team Eriksén is tasked with guiding is about as good a roster as his country can assemble. Felix Nilsson will be absent with injury and goalie Teodor Munther had to turn down the invitation to play in the HockeyAllsvenskan playoffs, but that's about it for big-time absentees.
