If there's one thing I bet the NHL loves, just absolutely can't get enough of, it's the uncertainty around what comes next for the Coyotes. Clearly, what was going on in recent months — even before the whole "4,800-seat arena" thing — has not worked, is not working, and will not work in the future.

Barring an unexpected move from someone in the local market (cough, cough Suns owner Matt Ishbia) it seems as though all options in the Valley have been exhausted, but now they're trying to weave conspiracy theories about "maybe they'll become a tenant in the Suns' building" or "maybe they'll move next door to Mesa" or "maybe one of the local tribes will let them build a rink on reservation lands."
