Standouts from the 2023 Memorial Cup

The 103rd CHL Memorial Cup event had nearly everything you could wish for. We had blowouts, massive comebacks, and overtime. There were big hits, big fights, and gritty action. There were highlight-reel goals and gaudy point totals. We witnessed the first tie-breaker game since 2015 and it became an instant classic. The fans were energetic and enthusiastic. The organizers were prepared and forward-thinking.

It was a great.

As it happens every year, we had some standout performances by players on the biggest stage of their junior careers. Some of these players accomplished greatness in their final opportunities at the junior level. Some are off to the NHL or AHL, and others were playing for a chance to earn a contract. But they all shared one thing in common: they stood out.
