Film Room: Investigating David Edstrom's breakout performance at the U18s
No player affected their draft stock more positively at this year's U18 than Swedish centre David Edstrom.
Of course, it wasn't as much of a breakout if you'd been paying attention to Edstrom's work in league play. He was a point a game at the J20 level and already made his mark with Frölunda's SHL squad during a brief callup. Funny enough, only Leo Carlsson scored at a higher per-game clip than Edstrom among all draft-eligible skaters in the SHL with at least five games played.
