Where do the Vegas Golden Knights go from here?

The Vegas Golden Knights are in a bit of a tricky spot when it comes to the salary cap for next season.

But that's not really anything new for them.

They have pretty much maxed out their day-to-day roster in terms of having guys under contract; they have 11 forwards, eight defenders, and two goalies under contract for a combined cost of a little over $80 million. That gives them a bit of wiggle room to make some small additions. Round out the forward and goaltending groups, either via minor-league promotions or low-cost NHL acquisitions, and suddenly you're bringing back basically everyone who just won a Stanley Cup with you.

But the "basically" part there is what's tough. They only have one real NHL-level RFA to re-sign, Brett Howden. He probably won't cost much, something like $1 million, m
