He isn’t out there bending dimensions like Across the Spider-Verse’s Miguel O’Hara, but Ziemmer's multi-faceted approach was a serious draw for WHL scouts this past season. And he was nearly as prolific in his own field.

Second to only Connor Bedard in goals among first-time draft-eligible WHL skaters, the 6-feet-tall, 194-pound winger managed to beat goaltenders 41 times this past season, enough to land him ninth in overall scoring.

With a tool kit every bit as well-stocked as an auto-mechanic, the Mayerthorpe-born forward finished the year at No. 40 in the Elite Prospects 2023 NHL Draft Guide. A tricky player to evaluate and rank appropriately, Ziemmer’s profile as a player is made up of some exciting pros and some debilitating cons which drastically affect his overall projection.
