Film Room: Matthew Wood has grand slam potential

Entering the season, it seemed Matthew Wood might be overmatched by NCAA competition. 

That wasn’t the case – not even close. 

By season’s end, Wood amassed 34 points in 35 games, leading UConn. He was the best player on his team more nights than not. And he followed up with a standout performance at the U18s. 

Now, Wood looks poised to hear his name called inside the top-15 and represents one of the 2023 Draft’s highest-upside players.
