[VIDEO] Logan Cooley is coming to steal the CALDER from Connor Bedard

With Logan Cooley deciding to leave the University of Minnesota and join the Arizona Coyotes this fall, suddenly Connor Bedard has a real challenger for the Calder Trophy as the league's top rookie.

Cooley, coming off of a season where he led the nation in assists and was a Hobey Baker finalist will have an opportunity to play with the top offensive players in the desert.

Meanwhile, Bedard enters the league with as much hype as humanly possible. However, he won't have access to the same level of surrounding talent and will find himself the target of every top-pairing defense group and shutdown line.

The race for the 2024 Calder should be one of the best in recent memory.
