Prospect Pool Rankings

EP Rinkside 2023 NHL Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 17-ranked Winnipeg Jets

The Winnipeg Jets prospect pool sits comfortably in the middle of the NHL for the second straight season.

It’s a clear improvement from what they had just a few years ago and notably includes four players who appeared in our ranking of the top 100 affiliated skater prospects outside of the NHL, even if there’s a pretty clear drop in quality following those four names.

While the pool suffered from the graduation of Cole Perfetti, the addition of another top-20 pick in Colby Barlow helps to alleviate the sting. After that, it’s a mix of moderately high upside, low certainty bets accompanied by a few potential bottom-six pieces. Some saw their progress stagnate over the course of last season, some took important steps forward.

Without further ado, let’s see what they’ve got.
