EP Rinkside 2023 NHL Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 9-ranked Seattle Kraken

The Seattle Kraken are entering their third season and have already reached the playoffs and authored an underdog success story when they knocked off the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, and defending Stanley Cup champion, Colorado Avalance.

Early success at the NHL level makes their placement among the top 10 prospect pools impressive. Even more so when you consider that they graduated last year’s top prospect from our series.

Seattle's scouting work has been commendable. They’ve created a nice blend of high upside swings and safe investments to build one of the league's most well-rounded systems. Next up, they have to develop these players to their full potential to help push their big league roster over the top.
