NHL Storylines to watch for the 2023-24 season: Pacific Division

Last week and this week at EP Rinkside, we’ve taken a look division-by-division at some of the league-wide storylines that’ll be worth watching this season.

Today, the Pacific Division.

Note: Teams are listed in order of divisional standing from last season.

Vegas Golden Knights – They won the Stanley Cup, gave it a Vegas style party, and returned many of the key pieces that helped get the job done last season. That includes Adin Hill, who went from backup to the starter in the Stanley Cup Final and was rewarded with a new two-year deal, supplanting 2023 All-Star Logan Thompson as the No. 1 on the depth chart.

It doesn’t really matter who plays goalie for Vegas, the team is that good, but the usage in net will be worth tracking and Hill’s performance this season will be highly scrutinized
