Projecting which hockey prospects will be quality NHL players is a difficult task and one at which my colleagues at EP Rinkside excel. Certainty to play NHL games is always valuable in fantasy, as that can assure you that the player will help you accrue statistics, at least for the time he is minors eligible. This minor's eligibility varies from league to league but is usually set by age or NHL games played.

Just because a player plays NHL games, doesn’t mean he will be valuable to a fantasy team beyond the minor's eligibility limit. That value only
