2024 NHL Draft

Scout's notebook: Three more draft-eligible standouts from the first weeks of the season

A few weeks ago, I wrote about three draft-eligible European prospects who had impressed me during the first few weeks of the season. Since then, more hockey has been played, more games have been scouted and more players have grabbed my attention with their early-season performances.

After first going through Finland and Sweden and then diving deeper into Russia and Central Europe, it's fitting that I'll feature a few players from these regions who've made a positive impression with their play in September and October. All three of these players have been able to establish themselves in the professional ranks and found ways to thrive in different capacities.

Let's dig in.
