The Connor Bedard circus has made NHL hockey matter again in Chicago

CHICAGO, Illinois – Back in June, before he formally picked Connor Bedard in Nashville, Chicago Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson had his viral moment where “Kyle From Chicago,” was given an unintentional platform to answer the question he likely otherwise never would have been asked, or had the chance to defend, at least not in a traditional media sense.

In a random person-on-the-street interview with Penalty Box Radio, which was not aware of who they were interviewing, Davidson was asked if the NHL had fixed the draft lottery to benefit the Blackhawks.

“No.”

Pretty confident?

“I’m very confident.”

The NHL didn’t fix the lottery, let’s be clear. But to the dismay – or maybe joy – of conspiracy theorists, Bedard has provided the instant fix that was needed in Chicago.
