EP Rinkside CHL December power rankings

As the CHL nears its halfway point, it's time to make sense of its powerhouses and biggest surprises. 

The Baie-Comeau Drakkar lead the way out east, winning 25 of 30 games to start the season – they might be the biggest surprise of the season. 

The Kitchener Rangers lead the OHL in wins by three, points by five, and goals for by 23. Entering the season, it looked like it might be a rebuilding year.

Out west, the Prince George Cougars have the led – for now. The Wenatchee Wild are heating up, while teams in the Prairies have started making big splashes. 

Our expert panel of Lauren Kelly, Daniel Gee, David St-Louis, Cam Robinson, and Mitchell Brown ranked the top 10 teams across the CHL, including the top eight from each league.
