Scout's Notebook: Three flashy WHLers pushing for first-round status

As we move through December, the draft picture is becoming clearer. 

The top names from the west are power-centre Cayden Lindstrom and turbo-charged playmaker Berkly Catton, our No. 4- and 7-ranked prospects on November 1st, respectively. 

After that, the WHL opens right up. 

For some, the next-best prospect is dangly defenceman Carter Yakemchuk. Others, it's the dual-threat Tij Iginla. The automatic Terik Parascak, the feisty Tanner Howe, the toolsy Charlie Elick, and the high-skill Ryder Ritchie are in the discussion, too.

Here are three more exciting players to throw into the busy discussion: Miguel Marques, Tarin Smith, and Harrison Brunicke
