Fantasy Focus: Mining the waiver wire (Week 9)

We’re getting into the Holiday spirit around here. Which means waiver wire gifts for every good little girl and boy. Apologies if that sounded creepy.
This week, we have a nice smattering of four-game weeks including the Coyotes and Avalanche who have especially favourbale matchups. The Oilers and Kraken have a three-game homestands that both feature a visit from the lowly Blackhawks. We’ll be steering clear of Columbus, LA, Minnesota and Montreal as they only have two games on tap.
As always, the players listed are rostered in fewer than half of all Fantrax leagues. Unless of course, I decide to break that rule.
