Fantasy Focus: What to do with underperformers?

Every fantasy hockey season, there are players we draft that don’t perform to expectations. As the season rolls on, and the results don’t turn, the question of trading them at low-value plagues teams heading for a fantasy title. Let’s look at some underperformers and see whether fantasy players in championship contention should start looking elsewhere. 

Roope Hintz

By straight point production, Roope Hintz is just under a point per game and not far off his 2022-23 rate of 1.03. However, the peripheral production has been poor as he has a three-year low in shots per game, a three-year low in blocks per game, and a career low in hits per game.
