BOSTON, Massachusetts — There are very few places in the country where a college hockey game is the hottest ticket in town, and even in Boston, that's typically not even close to the case.
When things are going well for Boston University, their Agganis Arena is pretty close to full most nights, and the same is true of Boston College's Conte Forum.
But their first meeting this year happened to come when they were considered the two best teams in the country, and the normally heated rivalry boiled over. In fact, the teams entered the weekend with the same record (16-4-1), and the very minor separation in the Pairwise rankings was due to one of BU's losses coming in overtime, rather than regulation.
